May 3, 1946 - John Whitaker's 3 goals are the difference in a 9-7 win over Manhasset. June 4, 1946 - Bill Fuller's outstanding play at midfield helps GC beat Manhasset, 6-1, in a playoff for the Metropolitan-L.I. League Championship. Fuller went on to become a three-time AllAmerican at Syracuse and was elected to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1981. |
